ScanClouDT presented two papers at the 6th Digital Twin International Conference DigiTwin2026 held in Oxford, UK, August 4-8, 2026. Sonia Garcia (ENS-Paris) presented "A 5D Digital Twin Framework for Terrestrial Laser Scanners (TLS): Kinematic Misalignment Modelling and Calibration." Klara Grefe (PTB) presented "Engineering a Generic Digital Metrological Twin: A Framework for the Uncertainty Assessment of Geometric Terrestrial Laser Scanning Measurements."

ScanClouDT has been chosen as a use-case incubator project as part of Jupyter4NFDI, thus getting access to the superior computation power of the NFDI network.

The ScanClouDT project was presented at the 2nd International Workshop on Metrology for Virtual Measuring Instruments, VirtMet2025, which was held online December 3-4, 2025. A flyer about VirtMet2025 can be found here.

The poster "Traceability for industrial 3D digitalisation by advanced scanning systems – an introduction to the European ‘ScanClouDT’ project" was presented at the MacroScale 2025 conference held November 4-6, 2025 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

"ScanClouDT - a new project to improve traceability for industrial 3D digitalization by advanced scanning systems" was presented at the 40th ASPE Annual Meeting in San Diego, USA, in November, 2025.
